In Jerry Maguire, her role as Marcee Tidwell, the fiery and devoted wife of Cuba Gooding Jr.’s character, left an indelible mark, while her work in Ray as Margie Hendricks, one of Ray Charles' background singers and lovers, added another layer of complexity to her filmography.
